Psychotherapy treatments
Neuropsychological dysfunctions can occur, for example, after a stroke or in the event of brain damage. Cognitive functions such as concentration, memory or logical thinking can be impaired as a result. In our neuropsychological therapies, we examine people with neurological disorders for their cognitive performance. Through targeted therapeutic measures, we work together with the patient to improve impaired functions, aiming for the best possible reintegration into their professional and personal life.
“Body & mind” – a unique approach
Psychological comorbidities have a significant impact on quality of life and physical rehabilitation. We take into account the psychological situation of our patients during the rehabilitation process. Our service is available initially entirely as outpatient treatment, making it unique. Our interdisciplinary team assists patients in coping with their illness and adjusting to their new life situation. We recognize that a patient’s environment also plays a crucial role in their recovery. We therefore aim to incorporate all these factors as comprehensively as possible on a case-by-case basis.
Psychotherapeutic support
If patients have mental disorders, we offer psychotherapeutic counseling and support. In individual or group settings, we facilitate the process of coming to terms with illness. We support those affected in adapting to their changed life situation and developing strategies to cope with their condition.
